The audio & visual quality for this meeting is horrible! I'm going to do my best. First up are the resolutions from the Director of Finance Ahmed Abonamah (but someone else is here representing the Finance Dept).

Finance resolutions:
- Authorizing a $277,010 contract with Netsmart Technologies for a case management system for Office of Prevention, Intervention, and Opportunities
for Youth and Young Adults.

- Fixing compensation for prospective $1,076,650 contract with Accela, also for a software update related to licenses & permits. Both resolutions approved without questions.

Director DeRosa is present for to authorize 5th modification to $468,945 contract with R.E. Warner & Associates, Inc., for on-call architectural/engineering services. They are adding $100,000 to that contract.

Whoever is facilitating this meeting is trying to understand what the additional funds are for, but the answer was not totally clear. DeRosa says the additional costs are just for the as-needed services that have not been identified yet.

After a few more clarifying questions, the Board approves the contract modification unanimously. Next up is Director of Community Development Alyssa Hernandez with resolutions related to the purchase of land

Board members are curious abt one parcel sale at $5,000 which is more expensive than these normally go for. Hernandez described it as a "controversial site" -- near the burial site of Anthony Sowell's victims. The Board has decided to hold off on approval to discuss further.

"I know the city wants to do some things to try to help them out, so that's why I'm just wondering about that value. I know we usually complain that the values are too low, and now I'm complaining that it's a little high...we can look at that." says Dir. Tyson Mitchell.

Another board member asks how the department arrived at $5,000 as fair market value. Dir. Hernandez says they typically do an appraisal. They are going to hold for another week and allow Dir. Mitchell to address any concerns.
