Committee advances Community Development Block Grant budget

You can see everyone strolling in, getting ready for the meeting. Handshakes were given out to everyone as well. It seems like everyone is excited it is a Monday.
The meeting officially began at 2:04 pm. Role was called, and everyone was present.
Ordinance no. 506-2023 stands approved. Russel Brown, who is an administrator at the Ohio Court was there to announce the ordinance changes.
Ordinance no. 1128-2021 stands approved. Council Member Anthony T. Hairston @HairstonCCC10 was there and spoke highly of the ordinance. Council Member Michael D. Polensek also spoke to this ordinance and said he was dealing with the Glenville neighborhood.
Ordinance no. 1130-2021 stands approved. Councilman Kazy @kazy_brian supports this project. He said, “This is the first time that ward 16 will see substantial improvement into the neighborhood.”
Ordinance no. 397-2023 stands approved. This is a budget hearing, and this is an approximate budget after further approval.
Ordinance no. 485-2023 stands approved. This is for legal aid as they go through the eviction process.
Ordinance no. 504-2023 stands approved . Councilman Kazy @kazy_brian said, “This isn’t an option to renew, correct?”
Ordinance no. 404-2023 will not be passed because it can’t be passed before June the 5th, 2023.
Ordinance no. 468-2023 stands approved. This is an ordinance about student internships. Janet Schiavoni is the manager of organizational effectiveness. Schiavoni spoke to this and said, “These are very short-term, 10-12 weeks.”
Ordinance no. 470-2023 stands approved as amended. Councilman Bishop said he fully supports this amendment.
Ordinance no. 481-2023 stands approved. McCormack stated, “A person couldn’t just perform their own work.”

The order of the ordinances was a bit confusing towards the middle of the meeting. I’m not sure why they did that, but they moved through the entire agenda.
