• Commissioner Conley raised concerns about the transfer of the Smith Foundry Lease to its new owner: Smith Minnesota Holdings Inc, citing pollution concerns and environmental justice efforts in the neighborhood. Commissioner Conley requested from staff additional information about the new owners of the Smith Foundry operation and what pollution impact might be felt among East Phillips neighbors.
• Commissioners approved an additional $100,000 for a legal services contract citing vague and unnamed new issues that had emerged.
